Likewise, Barcelona faces the challenge of registering the salary increase agreed upon with Araujo this season, which cannot be done in the summer, after signing contracts to strengthen the team. This will be the case with Alex Balde, with whom it has already been agreed in principle to renew it until 2027. The increase in the left-back’s salaries will not fit at this time with the Blaugrana’s salary block either, so the club can open the doors of Memphis to achieve these three goals
As for signings, both Xavi and the sports district want to sign a right-back who completes the squad and is already a reinforcement for the future. There are many footballers under scrutiny, but the process could take place in June if LaLiga does not allow Barcelona to sign.
